Located on the Cheat River near Rowlesburg West Virginia, Greer’s newest limestone mine was acquired and began operation in 2007.

Taking advantage of significant limestone reserves in the Greenbrier Formation, Cheat River is able to produce a full array of limestone aggregates for municipal, commercial and West Virginia Department of Highways projects.

In 2015 Greer began its underground mining operation at Cheat River making it well positioned to supply counties in North Central West Virginia and Western Maryland.
